Handcut and Kiln fired glass jewellery. These handmade Dichroic glass earrings are 13mm x 13mm. They colour shift from pink to purple depending on light. Dichroic glass is notoriously hard to photo as the shine from the glass reflects back at the camera. The jewellery is taken up to 830C in increments over a 24hr period. This is done very carefully so that the glass anneals properly to fuse several pieces of compatible glass together. Handmade in my glass studio in Christchurch.
